La banda Wilco llega al Teatro Circo Price
They play alternative folk-rock mixed with a bit of country. Their lyrics are original and they are great musicians. This band, Wilco, was formed in Illionoi (Chicago) and will come to the capital of Spain to play on 1st November 2011.
They will perform in Teatro Circo Price in Madrid at 9 pm and the price of the cheapest ticket will be 47.50 Euros. The seats in the low stalls costed 70 Euros, but they sold out weeks ago. There are no tickets left to enjoy this show with the representatives of the best American rock.
The singer and composer Jeff Tweedy is the great leader and soul of this band, beside him from the beginning was John Stirratt on the bass.
The rest of the band has been changed throughout the years, since its birth in 1994. Currently the band is composed by Nels Cline, Glenn Kotche, Pat Sansone and Mikael Jorgensen.El vocalista y compositor Jeff Tweedy es el gran líder y alma mater de esta formación, acompañado desde el inicio por el bajista John Stirratt, que es el otro componente primigenio del grupo.

En 2004, con su quinto proyecto de estudio titulado A Ghost Is Born consiguieron dos premios Grammy, entre ellos el de mejor álbum de música alternativa.
En 2009 lanzaban su séptimo disco al mercado, Wilco (The Album), que ha arrasado en cuanto a ventas en todo el mundo.
